"The Lamp's Last Glow" (One of my fav poem)

अँधेरा होगा घना, ये चिराग बुझ जायेगा

कल भी होगा "अरुणोदय",मगर  "सूर्य" ये  ढल   जायेगा  

मेरी  साँसे,ये धड़कन ,मेरे कदम ,ये नयन 

कुछ मुकम्मल,कुछ अधूरे सपने लिए,कुछ यादें दिए

"कल तक" पूजे तुलसी के नीचे  समा  जायेगा । 

 मोह के नगरी  से सब मोह  तोड़  जायेगा

अथक चलने वाला "मन" भी अब शांत  बैठ  जायेगा

नफरत,प्रेम ,अहम,ईर्ष्या सब मेरे साथ  "जल" जायेगा

समय चलित था ये जीवन, समय काम पड़   जायेगा

व्यक्तित्व और  कुछ यादें ,लम्हें दिए अस्थियां छोड़ जायेगा

अँधेरा होगा घना, ये चिराग बुझ जायेगा।

Darkness dense, this lamp will cease to glow,

Tomorrow's dawn, but the Sun's final bow.

My breath, my heartbeat, these steps, these eyes,

Some dreams complete, some with unanswered cries.

Beneath the earth, where tulsi's prayers I've laid,

There, my body, in its shade, will be arrayed.

From the city of affection, I'll depart,

The restless mind, now still, with a silent heart.

Hate, love, pride, jealousy, all will burn,

As time's swift course takes its final turn.

Leaving behind personalities, memories, and moments few,

In darkness' embrace, my light bids adieu

Tomorrow's sunrise, a fading beam,

In the dense darkness, this lamp's final gleam.
